Shannon M. Houk is an associate at the Dellutri Law Group, P.A. Mrs. Houk is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She moved with her family at a very young age to the country of Managua, Nicaragua, where she lived for eight years until her family moved back to the United States. Mrs. Houk decided to attend her family alma-mater of Louisiana State University for her undergraduate degree, and then returned to her Miami home and attended the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida.

While in Law School, Mrs. Houk interned in the Miami Dade County Public Defender's Office. She also had the opportunity to take one semester of law classes in London, which provided a world-wide perspective and appreciation for the origins of our common law system which she carries with her to this day in her practice of law.

Upon completion of Law School, Mrs. Houk married and served for five years as a women's minister in a Christian church in South Florida. Ready to start her legal career, she then opened her own law practice predominantly focusing on real estate law. Today, she specializes in foreclosure defense for the Dellutri Law Group, and also helps homeowners to achieve loan modifications and other settlements with their mortgage lenders.

Family is an integral part of Mrs. Houk's life, and since much of her family lives in Central America, she visits when she can so that her children may stay connected to their Spanish heritage. Married for eleven years, she is a mother of two sons and loves to watch them play ice hockey on the weekends.

Mrs. Houk is licensed to practice law in all State Courts in Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar since 1997, the Lee County Bar Association, and the American Bar Associaiton. Her passion is to help people through these tough economic times, and to that end, she currently serves as the Chairperson of the Lee County Foreclosure Task Force and conducts monthly seminars to educate homeowners who are in foreclosure about their rights and possible remedies.
