I am thankful for my family. They provide with the ambition to get out of bed in the morning. I am thankful for a job that I love. I am thankful for having the abilities and talents to help people.

At its heart, Thanksgiving is a holiday where family and friends get together to catch up, reminisce, tell jokes, share scrumptious food, watch football and generally give thanks for all the good things in life. This is exactly what they did at the very first Thanksgiving, except for watch football.

I'm thankful for my wonderful supportive wife who loves me unconditionally (even though I sometimes don't deserve it) and a wonderful family, who loves and supports me. I'm thankful that I still have my mother and father to rely upon when I don't have all the answers. They have always supported my decisions, even the really dumb ones. I'm thankful for the unearned privilege of having an incredible mother and father who loved me unconditionally. I know they made sacrifices for their children. They provided me with a solid upbringing and allowed me to make my own decisions. They allowed me to make mistakes and to learn from my decisions. For this, I cannot thank them enough. I'm thankful that my four children have the privilege of getting to know their grandparents and step-grandparents. I truly believe spending time with their grandparents and step-grandparents will enrich their lives and provide them with a unique perspective going forward.

I'm thankful for bedtime stories and nighttime prayers.

I'm thankful for having my big sister and big brother and their families close to mine.

I'm thankful that I've had so many opportunities in life that many others have not had. I'm thankful for my own and my families health. I'm thankful for all the loving and supportive friends and colleagues in my life. Without them, this journey called life would not be complete.

I am thankful that no-one in my family sends out holiday novels about everything they did in 2009, along with a forced group photo. I would be thankful for the information; if it actually contained the juicy and salacious details that families specifically chose not to include.

I'm thankful for Football on Thanksgiving Day.

I'm thankful that I am not a turkey on Thanksgiving Day.

I am thankful for the ability to be able to put my thoughts down on a piece of paper. I am thankful for the ability to write a clear and comprehensive sentence.

I am thankful for our clients and the questions and problems they bring into our office. Without those issues, my brain would have dried up years ago. According to my wife, this has already started happening. Without our clients, I would have had to get a real job a long time ago.

I really have so many things to be thankful for that I cannot possibly list them all.

I am thankful for my family, friends, good health, food, & my job. My family & friends have always been there for me when I need something and always know how to cheer me up when I am having a bad day. I'm thankful that I wake up every morning with the health that I have. With the economy these days I am lucky to have food on my plate everyday and that I have a job. Unlike some people out there it's hard to have a job or food. I am just grateful for what I have. To other people it would make a difference in somebody's life.

For the year 2009,
I am thankful that I am able to experience true unconditional love from the deepest spot in my heart by having Miss Ava.
I am grateful that I have 3 Grandparents above watching over Ava
I am grateful of my memories with my Coco Grandma-it is wonderful to spend time and make memories with an old person-they have so much to share
I am grateful that I am in a supportive and loving marriage -although I wish he would talk on the phone less and eat healthier
I am grateful that I work for the Dellutris who have proven time and time again to be loyal, supportive and have provided me with an opportunity of a lifetime-I have worked for jerks and it makes life difficult and it doesn't have to be that way
I am grateful that I have a cancer free family
I am grateful that Janice and Irene and I "work together" and have fun as a team-it makes Monday thru Friday without Ava bearable
I am grateful that I can afford a vacation and a few fancy purses every year
I am grateful that I can make my mortgage and car payment every month
I am grateful that I have a sister, mother and father that are always there for me
I am grateful for David Lampley-he makes work so much more interesting
I am grateful for my many friends and family who are still around after so many years

Finally,
I am grateful for an ice cold Corona with a lime every now and again

I Am Thankful

First of all, I would like to say that Thanksgiving is more than the turkey that you prepare and the rush of Christmas shopping. Thanksgiving is exactly what the word means. "Giving Thanks" Not only to those in your home if not those less fortunate.

I am thankful that God is first in my life.
I am thankful to be alive.
I am thankful for my family.
I am thankful for my health and for my family.
I am thankful for my physical abilities and my families.
I am thankful for the people that surround me.
I am thankful for the people that I have met and for the ones that I haven't met.

Let me start off by saying that I could not be where I am now without the help from my parents. They have both been so supportive, helpful, and persistent with all of the choices I have made in life. They have pushed me to be the man I am, to further my education and strive for the best opportunities that I can encounter. Without them, I would not have been able to accomplish hardly any of the things I have, so thank you mom and dad! Also, I am very thankful for my girlfriend Lizzie for being there when I need her to be. She always has been very supportive throughout my schooling, law school prep, work, and has also pushed me to further my education to better my future and has done so without adding more stress to the table. I can't go any further without thanking my Uncle Nuch (Carmen), my Aunt Marjorie, and my grandma for always being there for me and providing me with opportunities I would have otherwise not been able to achieve. All of you have helped me grow and mature and have been patient and willing with me to help me succeed and be where I am now. I am also thankful for the people I work with every day. Without this great group of co-workers and friends, I would not be able to remain so calm and at ease when it comes to working. They have all helped me strive to achieve more, work harder, and do things that I never thought I would be doing.
