About Joe LoTempio
Joseph C. LoTempio was raised in a small suburb of Rochester, New York. He graduated from St. John Fisher College in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in marketing. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from the Ave Maria School of Law in 2010.
During his time in law school, Joe interned for several organizations, including the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Detroit, Michigan and the Law Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Fort Myers, Florida.
Knowing the detailed credentials of the attorney you are about to hire is extremely important, but we believe it is also important to understand who they are when they aren’t practicing law. So, let us be the first to say, welcome! We encourage you to get to know your attorneys on a personal level.
Who Is Joe When He’s Not Being an Attorney?
Did you know that we have our very own superhero working here at The Dellutri Law Group, PA? You guessed it; it’s Attorney Joe LoTempio! Why do we refer to him as the superhero of the office? It’s not just because he is the biggest Marvel fan on the planet, it is because he is a superhero to many of our clients who need defending against evil creditors in our consumer protection department. Joe has always had a passion for standing up for those who need a voice, protection, and justice after being taken advantage of, so it’s no shock as to why he decided to go into consumer law.
With a big heart and a great devotion to standing up for what is right, Joe focuses on helping consumers protect their home from the mortgage companies, other law firms, debt collectors, and homeowner associations. Joe’s passion is helping people put their lives back together, which he does with a smile on his face and a Captain America shield in his hand!
What Is Joe Passionate About?
Much like Captain America himself, he will go above and beyond to help. Whether it be for his friends, family members, or especially our clients, he takes this duty very seriously.
Although Joe is such a “people person,” he really wanted to give back to his furry friends. His cat Penny has a lot to do with that. A few years back, there was a cat roaming around his apartment complex. Joe has a feeling that her original owner left her behind when they moved. After roaming the streets for a while, the cat followed him back to his apartment one night—and she has never left.
That’s why Joe chose Gulf Coast Humane Society as his Dellutri Law Group Passion Project. Their mission is to create the first not-for-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization in Southwest Florida. Their shelter protects and houses the neglected and abandoned pets of Southwest Florida, much like Joe’s cat, Penny used to be. They rely solely on donations, grants, and fundraising events to further their mission.
Joe is especially fond of their no-kill mission because, as Captain America once said, “You can't justify murder by masking it with a cause.”
