When I meet with clients, one of the first questions I like to ask is if they’ve checked their credit report lately. Most of the time, clients will tell me that they haven’t checked their credit reports because they don’t want to know what’s on there. Checking your credit reports on a regular basis is one of the most important things you can do to fully understand what’s on your credit report. You’re allowed to pull one free credit report from each of the three major credit reporting agencies once each year. Most of the credit reports include incorrect or false information on them, and most people don’t notice this until they’re making a big purchase – such as a house or car. Find out more in the video.
