Carmen Dellutri: When my grandfather was 16, he started his career working in this gas station. He subsequently bought the business, brought my father up into it, and then as time went by, my father brought me up into the business. The thing that impacted me the most was the way people talked about my grandfather and my dad, and the fact they knew my dad and my grandfather would always be there for them if they ever needed them. He always had a positive attitude. Nothing would get him down.

His personality is kind of like mine. Work ethic means everything to him. Practicing bankruptcy and personal injury takes us into very detailed portions of our clients’ lives. When a person’s involved in a car accident, and they can’t work, how are they going to earn money? What if the debt collectors start calling them? It was at that point in time that I realized people were being taken advantage of in the bankruptcy court. And I said, not on my watch. I will not watch someone who has been injured be taken advantage of by a bank, or a mortgage company, or a debt collector...or anybody.

Client: Dellutri helped me with my bankruptcy and also my personal injury case where I had a slip and fall. I slipped and fell and damaged my finger. I am an instructor. Because of my injury, I can no longer do that. I had to give that portion of my life up. The house was in my name and my name alone. I can no long afford the mortgage. At that time there, I called Dellutri Law Group. After that, I have not heard one word from the mortgage company anymore. Never thought this could happen to me, in my life, but life goes on, and when you do, you have to deal with the situation that is at hand and deal with it the best you can and get the best you can...which I did.
