Christie Lee Garratt: Office Manager - Passion Project: The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, Inc.
If you have ever met our Office Manager or have had the pleasure of working with her, you would not be surprised to learn that she goes above and beyond outside of the office too. Christie learned about The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, Inc. while assisting her son’s elementary school teacher. During this project, Christie noticed that some kids were absent from any school materials for class. To think about her own son not having school necessities, especially at such a young age, broke her heart.
That is why Christie chose The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, Inc. as her Dellutri Law Group Passion Project. The purpose of this charity is to enhance the quality of public education in Lee County. This non-profit organization offers programs, resources, and experiences that are made possible through corporate, individual, and educational partnerships.
She chose this charity because she believes that all children should have what they need for school! She hopes to contribute to making a positive difference in someone else’s life (even though she makes a positive difference to our Dellutri Law Group family daily). Volunteering Is important to her because it can help to gain a deeper understanding of struggles in other families within your own community. This helps her to gain an appreciation for what she has been given in life while helping others through their own struggles.
She has also made strides to provide extra school supplies and snacks for her son’s class to help them all excel.
