For Casey Byrus, working for someone and something that she believed in was an absolute must when seeking out a career. That is why when she met Carmen Dellutri at a networking event, she eventually became his Director of Marketing.

“I met Carmen a full year before I came on board with his team,” says Casey. “When we met, we started picking each other’s brains about marketing ideas and strategy. Joining his team was a perfect fit.”

Before The Dellutri Law Group, PA, Casey worked for a Marketing & Advertising agency with multiple clients around the Fort Myers area. She also managed a chiropractor’s office and learned a great deal about personal injury clients. “Having insight from working at the chiropractor’s office really gave me the knowledge I needed to market for a personal injury law firm.”

Casey believes that staying relevant and ahead of the next guy is important. Some things in marketing never change, but most things do evolve. When Casey is not coming up with the next best marketing idea, she is being a mom, wife, daughter, and sister to her family that she holds dear to her heart.

What Is Casey Passionate About?

Casey is one of the most compassionate people we know, both at work and home. She was born and raised right here in Southwest Florida and believes volunteer work has the ability to open other’s eyes to the realities of what is happening in their own community. In her own words “You may think you know how things in the community work, but seeing those things firsthand, experiencing the realities of other’s lives, lives of those who may not have been blessed as much as yourself, seeing them at a closer look changes a lot for your perspective”.

While she was at a charity event on behalf of The Dellutri Law Group, PA (where we were being honored for giving back!), she met Angela Melvin, the founder of Valerie’s House, and fell in love with the organization. Valerie’s House is the first and only organization in Southwest Florida of its kind. Their sole mission is to help children and families work through the loss of a loved one together and go on to live fulfilling lives.

Less than a year after learning about their organization, Casey found herself in need of their advice personally. Her young son was having a very hard time learning to cope with the loss of his Papa. For Casey, losing a family member is one of the hardest hurdles to overcome in a lifetime and she believes it’s especially trying for children who don’t quite understand just yet. She reached out to them and they sent her helpful resources, no questions asked. Casey’s family even requested donations to Valerie’s House be made in his name, in lieu of flowers, for the service.

She hopes by choosing Valerie’s House as her Dellutri Law Group Passion Project, she can support more children who are experiencing a loss of a loved one.
