We never know where our search for the ‘Strange Lawyer Story of the Week’ will bring us. Today we found this story. The death of a lawyer in Dallas, Ira Tobolowsky, has been ruled a homicide. Tobolowsky was found dead in a garage fire that officials deemed suspicious at the time (the fire happened on May 13).
After a closer look and examination, it has been found that Tobolowsky died from blunt force injuries, smoke inhalation, and burns from the fire. Tobolowsky was in the process of suing an attorney from the Austin area at the time of his death. The judge presiding over the case has stepped aside and has hired extra security.
